It is with heavy heart I write this little message of condolence for my late friend nokie, I have many fond memories of Noel as he frequented my old bar regularly, he always requested thin Lizzy to be played on the sound system and I happily obliged the track in particular he loved was old town , we also had a common interest and mutual love of horse racing and we enjoyed viewing Cheltenham especially as well as small midweek meetings and we’d usually have a small punt, today a bittersweet memory occurred as I found a Dublin flag he brought from Ireland for me a while back and in keeping with the Dublin theme or team in this case we had a hilarious mix up with a birthday cake for his party in my bar a few years back I mistakenly ordered a Cavan cake instead of a Dublin one as the colours are so similar and we had a wonderful laugh over that especially our great friend jimmy, this is only one of a trove of fond memories we have of Nokie but for now Nokie it’s a goodbye till we meet again and to use one of your favourite line GET UP THE YARD
From Ken , Som & Polly
RIP my friend

My sincere Condolences to Noel's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Noel only a few years ago and he was both a tremendous personality and a friend. Noel brought a smile and a laugh with him wherever he went. Will be sorely missed by those lucky enough to know him.
Sincerest sympathies to Noel's family. I have many happy memories of our Table Tennis matches in CYM which were always exciting.
Sincere condolences to the family & friends of Noel (Nocy) i had the pleasure of meeting Nocy whilst visiting my uncle Jimmy in Pattaya, Thailand over the last 3 years, he was such a lovely man n i fondly thought of him as my "Uncle Nocy" we had a shared passion for Football...me been an Arsenal fan whilst Nocy was a staunch Evertonian & there was much banter between us. He will be very sadly missed by so many & i know i personally will miss him on my visits to Pattaya.
My sincere condolences to the O' Connor family and friends at this very sad time. I met Noel many years ago through my Dad, Jimmy, where they met in Pattaya, Thailand.
Noel would come down to Waterford a few times a year and it was always a pleasure to spend time with Noel.
In recent times I even traveled to Pattaya with Noel and have many fond and funny memories with Noel home and abroad.
I will miss Noel but will always remember the good times we spent together.
RIP Noel.
Sincere condolences to all of Nocy’s family. He was a great friend, a great bowler and will be missed by everyone at CYM. Rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Noel's family and friends particularly in CYM Bowling club. For the past ten years Noel has been a dear and genuine friend to me both here in Thailand and in Waterford. In the many good times we laughed together and in the not so good times we both had a listening ear. Listening to Noel blasting out Philo's Whiskey is the jar in the many bars in Pattaya was a pleasure and enjoyed by his many friends here. Noel loved watching Everton and Celtic games and I even got him watching hurling games especially when Waterford were playing. Noel loved coming to my home in Waterford and became friends with many people in Roanmore GAA Club Centre such was his easy going manner and ability to mix so well. Noel even got us Bowling here in Pattaya. I even got Noel enjoying some Country music and we joked about it many times. As regards sincerely and friendship Noel was number one and we met at least six days every week. I sure have lost a dear friend in Noel who has left THIS PLACE but in my heart he will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Noel dear friend.
Sincere condolences to Nocy's family. He's missed by all his friends in CYM Bowling club.
