Sincere condolences to Adam, Sarah and all the lovely Bridgeman family. Your Daddy was a pure legend, may he rest in peace xx
I was very sad to hear the sad news about Noel. He was a true gentleman as well as a wonderful singer and musician. He came to see my wife in hospital last year and brightened our day with his wonderful spirit.
Thanks Noel for all the lifts home from Ryan's for Sindy and me.

Olivia, Niamh, Audrey, Eoghan and Adam I was so sorry to hear of Noel's passing. I have fond memories of Noel the calm, quiet, funny and cool dad. Perhaps that's down to looking back on childhood with rose-tinted glasses (in my mind's eye Noel actually wore round rimmed rose-tinted sun glasses) but I have only fond memories of Noel. I remember laughing a lot, particularly his encouraging words to a small blue car called "Betsy" (which I named my own first small blue car with my own kids). He built the coolest shed on the street where we could make as much noise as we liked thanks to the egg-carton lined walls. He was encouraging and supportive. When I was sick in my twenties and had to move home Noel lent me a book on healing through diet, which I still live by today. Just a smattering of lovely memories of a really nice man. You have my deepest sympathy.
Sincere sympathy on your great loss Audrey.
Audrey & family, so sorry for your loss. RIP.

My sincerest condolences to Peter and all of the Bridgeman family on Noel's sad passing. May he rest in peace.
My heartfelt love and condolences to Olivia and all Noel’s family.
I hadn’t heard about Noel or ‘Nollaig’ passing away and it came as an awful shock. I was only thinking quite recently about those great gigs we played back in 1976 and all the great times we had.
I worked with Noel and Brush in the final 3-piece Skid Row as lead guitarist and co-singer. It was initially a 4-piece with 2 drummers, Noel and Timmy Creedon.
After a while Timmy left and it was just Noel, Brush and myself out playing around Ireland. I think my time with the lads lasted about 8 months. Our first gig was a packed Mansion House in Dublin: in at the deep end!
I have great memories of Noel, his warm and friendly personality and great sense of humour, apart from being a brilliant drummer.
I remember driving back from a distant gig with Noel and Brush sound asleep in the back and arriving at my family house early on a sunny summers morning:
A precious cargo indeed.
I noticed lately that Noel was very busy as studio musician and has appeared on many albums on drums/congas. I was also pleasantly surprised to see him acting in that film ‘The Boys (and girl) from Country Clare’. He was just himself really in the film: a drummer in an Irish Band and a really nice fella.
It was a pleasure and honour to have worked with Noel.
God bless him,
Jimi.

He often talks via email of those days, young and with the world at your feet. Peter our thoughts are with the family, stay safe see you soon hopefully out at the club.

So sorry to hear of Noel passing, saw him play many times with my brother in law Eamon, legend, RIP.
My condolences to Audrey and family on your sad loss.
My bother Donal was just telling me the story of the first time he met Noel. Skid Row were playing the Franciscan hall in Limerick around 1970 and somehow were persuaded to come out to Shannon and play in the youth club hall, they did and played a blinder. That there is proof of how sound they and Noel were. I had the pleasure of seeing Noel play with numerous bands and with Johnny and Donal in my life, an incredible musician and a gentleman. Noel always had a smile.
On behalf of the Fean family Johnny and Maggie, Donal, Shearie, Gail and Ray our deepest condolences to the Bridgeman family.

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Noel. I had heard of him from his Skid Row, and Mary Black and Waterboyd days, but I got to know him when I was his postman in Foxfield for 20 years. Many a chat we had when he was loading up his car heading off to a gig. An absolute gentleman. To his lovely wife Olivia, and Niamh, Audrey, Eoghan and Adam my deepest sympathy.

My deepest Sympathy to the Bridgeman Family, Noel brought so much joy to our lives with the wonderful gigs through the years, for me, those magic Sunday Afternoons in Slattery’s to the Thursdays in Ryan’s, not to mention the wonderful Dublin Blues Cartel Gigs, that transported you to New Orleans for a while, and in the words of another great drummer, L. Helm If you pour some music on whatever's wrong, it'll sure help out, and Noel you certainly had the magic and gift and soul to do just that..

So sad to hear this news ,a lovely man and fantastic musician, thinking of Noel's family at this sad time
My sincere condolences to Olivia and the extended Bridgeman family on the sad passing of their much loved Noel. He was the proverbial legend in his own lifetime. My earliest memories of Noel were the Skid Row gigs in the hall of O’Connell School. It was the first introduction to live rock music for many of us and we were blown away by them. While London had Cream with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce we had our very own Skid Row, with front man Brush backed up by Noel on the drums and Bernard Cheevers and Philip Lynott on guitars. I attended so many of his gigs over the years from the Baggot to the Stadium and more recently Vicar Street. Great memories of the great man, a great musician and singer. He'll be sadly missed by his many friends and music fans. May He Rest in Peace.
Very fond memories of Noel playing with Skid Row at the Franciscan Hall in Limerick, always had time for a chat after the Gig.Deepest sympathy to all his loved ones.
