Noel O'Briain

Noel was a neighbour many years ago in Kimmage.We first became acquainted when Dion used to climb over the back wall into our garden.The little blonde head would appear and Noel or Orla would come around the long way to check up on him.It was all great fun.Sleepovers and pitching tents in the garden.Noel was so patient and kind and forever interested in the goings on of the boys.Sadly we lost touch when they moved but I've never forgotten Noel's kindness.Alice Walsh

May we both offer our deepest condolences to all the O'Brien family on the passing of Noel a gentleman with sharp sense of humor. To Enda, Darragh and Fionn, I am sure dad would be so proud as we were privileged to hear your kind articulate farewell in word and song befitting a true gentleman. Rest in peace Noel.

Enda, I'm so sorry for your loss and my sincere condolences to you Orla, Darragh and family at this difficult time.

Sincere condolences to Orla, Darragh, Enda and all the family. Noel and I worked together in Radio in the GPO and in TV Drama at RTE. Noel was a kind and gentle soul, a true and wonderful colleague.

So sad to learn of Noel's passing. I remember him so well from my time in RTE. (We were both on the 1970 trainee tv producer/director course). Noel was a warm, generous, wonderful man. Condolences to the O'Briain family.
