Very sorry to hear the passing of Noel. I have very fond memories of going to Cork City matches with Noel and Stephen. Condolences to Stephen, Caroline, Laura, Amy, Ger and all of Noels family. May he rest in peace.
My sincere sympathies to all of Noels’ family on his passing. Every year when Noel came to Dublin for the Regional Sports and Social Club Committee meetings he would without fail, arrive up to the Sports Department with a big box of chocolates for myself and Anne. He never forgot us and I never forgotten him, a gorgeous man, and the heart of the Sports Club in Cork. Rest in peace Noel.
Sincere sympathies to the O'Keeffe family at this sad time. I have fond memories of Noel from my time in AIB South Mall. To say the man was a legend is an under statement. He was like a father to all of us. Rest in peace Noel.
sincere condolences to the okeeffe family on the passing of noel a bed in heaven to him rip
Sincere sympathy to all the O’Keeffe family on Noel’s passing.

I was another member of the Ladies Soccer team and what I remember most is that the team never had to was the jerseys. Noel got around someone to install a washing machine and dryer in ‘66’ and Noel saw after the rest.

He was the organiser for our trips to the Sports & Social Club in Terenure and also took us to Edinburgh and Manchester.

RIP Noel
Deepest sympathies to the O Keeffe family on the sad passing of Noel. I got to know Noel through the women’s inter firm soccer. He was a leader in women’s soccer. Great nights were had in Highfield. His legacy will live on.
May he rest in Peace
Deepest sympathy to Noel family on his passing fondly remember him Ladies inter firm soccer
I have many happy memories of Noel, initially when I came back to Cork many years ago, and Noel contacted me to join the Ladies soccer team. We had great fun, not so sure about the results, but Noel ensured we had a team for every game. He had such enthusiasm for every sport and also to get everyone involved. AIB sports and social really hasn’t been the same since he left. He ensured everyone was involved. Working in 66 or calling there on occasion, he always had a smile and great conversation. Deepest sympathy to all the O’Keeffe family and may you get comfort from knowing what a legend to AIB that he was. May you RIP Noel.
Sincere condolence to all of Noel’s family .
He was what they refer to as a legend. He brought so much joy setting up the ladies soccer. I have great memories of that time. Noel is fondly remembered by so many in AIB May he rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to all the O’Keeffe family on the loss of Noel RIP.
What a gentleman- I worked in 66 for 20 years and our paths crossed nearly every day and Noel always had a smile. The energy and enthusiasm for our sports and social club has to be remembered by all who joined the Bank in Area South.
He welcomed all new staff to the sports and social club particularly those who were far from home and lonely.
Noel’s interactions settled them into the world of banking and a new circle of friends.
I know this is a sad time but hopefully our happy memories of Noel will help you through the difficult days.

I'm sorry for the loss.
I have some happy memories of Noel O'Keeffe.
One of life’s genuine individual. He was instrumental in maintaining the soccer tradition in the M&L in Cork in my formative years there and latterly very involved in all Sporting functions in the Southern capital. I have very fond memories of playing soccer in the Franciscan grounds in Dennehys Cross with Noel roaring out at us to “give it a lash”. Sincerest condolences to his extended family.

My father was based in 66 South Mall from the late 60's until he retired in 1983. Although I was only a young lad, I remember Noel so well, he was so welcoming, full of chat and had such a love of sport. A gentleman, may he rest in peace.
My condolences to the O’Keeffe family on your loss. Even though I never knew his name I remember this lovely man from my days as a customer of 66 south mall. He was so friendly and helpful. He always had a welcome for everyone. In later years when my trips to the bank were fewer I enjoyed meeting him walking in Turners Cross. He’d always have a lovely smile and a greeting. I had wondered in recent times how and where he was as I missed seeing him. I’m happy to have known such a lovely person in the small way I did. May he now rest in the peace he so richly deserves.

Noel's dedication and commitment to AIB and to the AIB Sports & Social Club was truly remarkable. He is known within AIB as Mr Sports & Social and without his enormous contribution and drive, the S&S club wouldn't be what it is today.
