Sympathies to all the family on Noel's passing, may he rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
I was very sad to hear of Noel’s passing. I first met Noel when I was 9 yrs old. He became my manager at Ranger’s Boys in Bushy Park and we have kept in contact over the years mostly through Christmas cards and occasional phone calls.
He was a tremendous influence on me during my teenage years. His planning and preparation for every game was meticulous. He gave every player a hand written card with the opponent, the venue and the time with the word sharp underlined in red biro. If your boots weren’t clean you didn’t get a game.
Condolences to Noel’s brothers Des, Paul and families and also to Tommy & Padraig for looking after him so well.

Sorry to hear the sad news of Noel’s passing.
Deepest sympathies to his brothers Des and Paul, to the extended family and to his dear friends.
Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the service due to being out of the country.

Played for many years on Noel's team at Rangers. He gave us a little reminder card for every match, who we were playing, meeting time, location of venue, don’t forget your boots, and in brackets (clean). Meeting under Cleary’s clock on Saturday afternoons for away matches, Noel paying all the bus fares (for thirteen children). A very generous man. Ahead of his time as a manager.
Yes, we will miss that first Christmas card.
So sorry to hear this very sad news of Noel’s passing.
My deepest sympathies to his brothers Des and Paul, to the extended family and to his great friends Tommy and Padraig.
I have many fond memories of working with Noel in ESB Head Office and the many chats we’d have in the canteen.
Noel was very charming, witty and great company and always called me Sandy.
I hadn’t seen Noel in years until myself and Kieran dropped in to see him at his home outside Dingle last June.
We spent a lovely few hours with himself and Tommy, who I also knew from our ESB days, and we had a great reminisce about old times and in that stunningly beautiful setting.

We are certainly going to miss that special first Christmas Card.

Rest In Peace Noel
Comhbhrón le Muintir Quinn,& Pádraig 7 Tommy ar bhás Noel. Beannacht Dé lena anam.
Ard na Caithne.
Sincere condolences to all of the Quinn family. I have fond memories when Noel would pop into Mam and Dad.
The one that sticks out the most is when Dad was helping Noel cut down the hedging in the back garden of number 14 and Dad lost his wedding ring.
I was up at the crack of dawn to go help them look for it... I found it and thought I would have the day off school as my reward but both of them said school is so important ya couldn't possibley have a day off if you're not sick... The good old days

Codail go sámh a Noel 💜
Only just found out so missed funeral. I am so sorry, Noel was a great friend and neighbour to myself and my family. He rings me every year on my mam's anniversary. There is definitely a new angel in heaven xxxx
Really sorry to hear this v sad news, shocked too as we all thought that Noel would go on for ever.
My sincere condolences to Des and Paul and to all the extended family and to his great friends Tommy and Padraig.
I am so glad that I got to meet up with Noel just a few short months back at his beautiful home outside Dingle and I want to thank Tommy and Padraig for arranging that special few hours with myself and Sandra.
You showed beautiful friendship and kindness to Noel in his time of need and I know how much he appreciated you both.
There are so many special memories from our Rangers days and indeed on the occasions of the few reunions we had in more recent times.
Great stories were retold about a very special Manager and Mentor and probably summed up best with the one that “if you saw Noel throwing his infamous towel down on the touch line, you knew you were in trouble”.
Noel’s legacy at Rangers FC, to Schoolboy Football in general and indeed to Irish Football will live on and on.
Alas that early Christmas Card will be no more; the end of a wonderful era in all our lives.

Rest In Peace Dear Friend
