Noel will be greatly missed by all his TUI friends.
He was a stalwart and committed member of his beloved County Donegal branch of TUI. He was an admired and very respected member of TUI in Donegal and at National level. He was someone who gave of his time generously in helping fellow TUI members. Noel's hard work and dedication to his roles as a branch officer, member and chair of the TUI Standing Orders Committee was hugely appreciated by the membership of the TUI.
Noel may have left us all suddenly and much too early but he certainly will not be forgotten by his extensive TUI family.

We, in Donegal, are saddened beyond words at Noel’s untimely passing. He was a man of conviction and action and was at the core of all that happened at our branch. From our local meetings to annual Congress, Noel was there to offer support and advice. His quick wit made many a long meeting seem shorter. No matter what the question, Noel knew the answer. He gave of his time freely as a staff representative on the ETB Board, on the board of no less than four schools and on many interview panels. He was an advocate for equality of opportunity for all students and a committed teacher. He represented everything that a trade unionist should be and shaped our branch for the better. How often did we say, “what does Noel think?”
We will be the poorer without him but are a stronger branch because of him.
Noel: we will miss you deeply as a trusted friend and esteemed colleague.

Like many others outside the county of Donegal, I met Noel through his involvement with the TUI. He was a committed and tireless advocate for TUI members.
