Deepest sympathies to Ann, Denise, Olga and Fergal and extended family on the sad passing of Noel. A great friend from our days in college in Dublin, sharing flats and student life in Dublin and times with his pals down in his native Tipperary.

Sincere sympathy to Anne, her family and the Ryan and Fogarty families on the recent death of Noel. I met Noel for the 1st time in the autumn of 1965 when we both turned up in UCD to study first year Pharmacy. It soon became well known that if you had a problem understanding anything in the lectures or practicals you consulted Noel for guidance. He was a brillant student and we both graduated in 1968 with our degree. He was the first of our pharmacy class to get married - a wedding we almost missed despite having lots of time as we turned up at the wrong church in Nenagh. Although late we still managed to pass Noel's car on the way out to the country church. It was a memorable day that we never forgot.. The last time I saw Noel and Anne was some years ago when they called to see me here in Longford. I regret terribly not attending the funeral owing to ill health. May his soul rest in peace.
