Very sad to hear the news of Noel's death - knew from a long time we worked in Siekmans together and then we met often around Barrack street
He was a very positive person and will always remember him for his kindness to animals

I’ve been friends with Noel since we met in Siekmanns in the 70s. Noel was a kind, generous and courteous person. He often talked of his days in Castle Street, his parents Joan and Anthony and all things Irish.

I last talked to Noel on Friday, late morning. He was not feeling great and on his way to Hospital. but would not accept a lift. He was a great walker.
Norah adored her three boys, but she also cared deeply for stray animals and she passed that on to the boys. They were and are very kind and caring neighbours.
May Noel Rest in Peace and enjoy the company of his Mam in Heaven 🙏 He will be sadly missed by many friends and neighbours. God Bless you Noel
