Noel Sheehan

PJ and Nora Sheehan and family were always held in the highest regard by our family from my earliest childhood days in Kildysart, exchanging our farm horses every year for the ploughing and the hay making and of course all of the days we spent relaxing and fishing at Ballylean lake. May Noel Rest in Peace.

Sincere sympathies to Noel's family and friends. Noel was a wonderful colleague and I enjoyed many a day working on the lakes in Clare and elsewhere with himself and Flan - a mighty team. A thinking man Noel always had idea's on how to make the job work better. I hope heaven is ready for the face-lift it probably didn't know it needed, for it is all the richer for having Noel there.

I had the privilege of working with Noel in Fisheries in the Clare area since 1987. Noel was a dedicated, loyal worker, always so obliging and a true gentleman.
Having visited him in Hospital last Thursday, we said our good bye’s not realising it would be for the last time. May Noel’s gentle soul now Rest in Peace.

Its with great sadness to learn of the passing our dear friend Noel, he has gone to join the other great stalwarts of the fisheries service. It was great to have known and worked with him.

So sad to hear this news today. Noel was such a lovely man with whom I had the great pleasure of working alongside in the Shannon RBD & Inland Fisheries Ireland.
