Sincere condolences to the Sheridan family on the sad passing of Noel on behalf of his ex-GPO colleague & golfing friend Johnny Cronin. I was trying to contact Noel today to let him know that Dad had passed away yesterday 2/3/24 and sadly I saw Noel’s death notice. Dad spoke of Noel and the many chats they still had on the telephone.

Sorry to hear about the sad passing of Noel. He will be greatly missed at Naas Golf Club. He was an inspiration for us all on how to enjoy life and Golf to a great age.

Our great friend is gone and we'll all miss him. Noel was a wonderful man and his likes are unlikely to be seen. A learned, well read man. Helpful to everyone. Never heard him utter a bad word about anyone.
We were so glad & thankful to Noel for coming down to help out on Range. I remember his laughing face when one of Tommy Halpin, Sticky Fitzpatrick, Noel Heck or Noel himself would impart a good story. Noel had a brain for detail and an excellent memory. What a man . A gentle Gentleman.

I didn’t know Noel well at all, However as his room mate in the beacon hospital I could clearly see how loved he was. Especially by his daughter Maeve. My deepest condolences to you Maeve and may you take comfort that your dear dad is no longer suffering.

I also had the pleasure of playing with golf with Noel many times. He was a lovely man, great fun to be around and was a class golfer in his prime. I played with him when he had a hole in one on the third hole in Naas Golf Club not that many years ago. I think he used a 3 wood. Condolences to John Maeve and all the Family.
