I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Noel’s passing. Many times I delivered my CDs to the shop and it was always such a great pleasure to meet and chat with Noel. Wonderful memories of a really lovely Gentleman. Sincere condolences on your sad loss. May Noel rest in peace and may God give you comfort and strength at this awfully difficult time.

I still remember buying my first ever record, Eye of the Tiger, from him so many years ago in John Street. He was always so knowledgable and engaging. A dreadful loss to you all. Sincerest condolences to Jane and Noel's family. I called on Noel in the 70s and occasionally through the later decades as he was Maurice Byrne's (RIP) account. Noel was one of the nicest and most respected Record Dealers in the country. I know Maurice always spoke of him as more than a customer but as a friend. RIP

To Brenda and the extended Sinnott family: So sorry to hear of Noel's passing. We were blest to have Sinnott's record shop in the 1970's, where Noel kept and eclectic mix of LPs and Tapes. A great showband manager also, managing Dick and the Decca among others, where my brother Davy played sax and knew Noel very well. I'm sure he will organise Davy and all the lads from that era in Heaven into a great band up there. May he rest in peace.

Rita Jane and Brenda, sincere condolences. Noel touched the hearts of so many people in Waterford. I remember first meeting Noel in the Barron Strand street shop while buying a Smiths record and he buying the first radio ad that I ever sold. He was ahead of his time inventing the "men's shed" in John Street so that he could leave you ladies do your thing in Michael Street! To this day, the Sinnot name remains in John Street a testiment to the impact he had on the people of Waterford

So sorry to hear of the passing of Noel, he was an absolute gentleman and have very fond memories of him from the early days in Beaumex.
