I'm so sorry for your loss Maureen, Hannah, Brian, Snowe and everyone else who loved Noel.

Noel was a gentleman, a great neighbour and a good friend. Someone so reliable and thoughtful. Always offering to help and look out for those around him.

I have great memories walking up and down the graveyard or in the Phoenix Park with himself and Jasper, and our own dog Juno. Always positive and good humoured. He will be sadly missed.

Noel was always a welcome presence at the many ACE gatherings he joined, and I remember fondly him picking me up in his taxi in Stoneybatter many years ago. On making the connection to ACE we had a great chat, he was rightly a proud Dad. May he rest in peace.

Got to know Noel so well on the advanced bike course in August 1988… he chose to leave SDU and join us lunatics in the Garda Traffic Division. We had a few good trips to Liverpool to spend some time with our Merseyside colleagues in the following years. ….worked together for over 25 years … Noel worked with John Keyes in the investigation unit in the Carriage Office. A great match. They put the fear of God in taxi men…Made my job as their Sergeant a very easy task. It’s a pity we don’t have more like them now. Sincere condolences to Maureen, Hannah and extended family.
