dear Carmel and dear Hazel, Ethel, Ivan, and Earl at this time of sorrow.

Noel was a man who always struck me as kind, warm-hearted, and gifted with a wonderful sense of humor. There was something rare and noble in his presence - a true sense of “noblesse oblige” - as if blue blood truly ran through his veins. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, a natural grace, and a way of being that felt like he was born to it.

I have no doubt he will be sorely missed, not only by his family but by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Please accept my warmest and deepest condolences.

Carmen, I remember your own kindness and warmth to me so vividly.
May you, your children and families find comfort in the life you shared and the legacy he leaves behind.
