I remember Noel visiting st Mary’s hospital when I worked there for a year before I started my nursing training
He was so lovely to the kids in the hospital especially I remember his strong bond with Stephen

Hilary, Olga and Mark. From our days across the road in 129 we are truly sorry to hear of the death of Noe!. To the memory of squash days with you Hilary and a pint or two with Noel in the Bayside. After all his suffering may Noel now rest in peace.

The last time I remember speaking with Noel was outside the old school house in Rathangan. We discussed the All Ireland football final that had been played in the polo grounds in New York between Kerry and Cavan. We were about 11 years of age and it was September 1947.

Dear Hilary, Olga and Mark. We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Noel. Mike enjoyed his recent visit to Noel, to share some laughs over the photos he brought of Noel over the years with our family. He will be dearly missed. We won’t be able to make it there from Canada, but will be watching online.

Sincere condolences to Hilary, Olga and Mark on Noel’s passing. Noel was a regular visitor to our school and assisted so many of of our students with their school work. Noel always volunteered to assist the students with the greatest needs. His wonderful I.T. skills and his patient and encouraging style of communicating was much appreciated by the students and staff alike. Thank you Noel for being so kind to us. John.

Dear Hilary Olga Mark. Was so sad to hear of Noel’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of him. I still have the poetry book he gave me when I left Ireland. So sorry I can’t be there to celebrate his life but I will be watching online. Thinking of you all in these tough times xxx Caroline
