R I P Noel and deepest condolences to all the family. Attended Monkstown school 1950 - 53 and later CBS Eblana Ave., with Noel. Also often lay sunbathing by railway tracks in Seapoint after swimming.The craic between himself, Roo,Tom Cullen et al re their adventures the previous evening was something to behold and hear. W and D were highly respected employers in the borough for the duration, mainly due to the characters of Roo and Noel which were both generous and honorable not to mention hilariously entertaining. I bought several cars from them over the years and my acquaintance with both since schooldays stood me in great stead . Noel was always generous with his time and advice and I remember his great sense of humour with warmth and sadness.

It was always a pleasure calling to see Noel in White and Delahunty.

My sincere condolences to the White family.I go back to 1962 when Noel & Jimmy Del occasionally drove the Milk truck for Liam Roberts, allowing him a holiday..I was a 14 year old assistant
Noel was responsible for encouraging me into my 47 year carrer in the vehicle industry .Never forgotten ..I only discovered yesterday of his passing. Farewell Noel

He grew up to be a well respected member in his trade. In later years I met him again in Roundwood. He was a very popular and generous man and will be sadly missed by the Community. So sorry to hear of Noel's passing. I know Noel since 1953, when I first started school in Monkstown County Dublin.
At that time Noel worked in a garage at the Ring Monkstown ( as an apprentice mechanic ?). He was always so friendly to a "young fella" , we became friends. Our lives crossed many times down the Years. When he went into business with Jimmey , when they opened their first premises in Dun Laoghaire. I bought a number of cars from them in Sallynoggin down the Years and you could not find a more professional and helpful Dealership. God Bless to both Noel and Jimmey , 2 of natures Gentlemen, Prayers offered.
