Dear Annette,
My heart goes out to you as you grieve the sudden loss of your beloved mother, who was, as others have said, always the perfectly dressed and mannered lady, a credit to herself and to the profession she loved and served in most admirably. I shall always remember the kindnesses you both showed to me and my husband Joe, whenever we came to visit my Breslin and Quinn cousins in Glenties. Your mother was blessed not only to have lived a long and healthful life, but also to have had you as her devoted daughter, to see her through her final years and days. May you be comforted, Annette, in knowing that you did as much for her as you possibly could, and though she is now happily reunited with your father, her parents, and all the loved ones who preceded her, she is also looking down lovingly on you, her precious daughter. I am aware that her death leaves a huge void in your life, and I pray that the good memories, as well as the prayers and support of family and friends, sustain you and comfort you. Love, Teresa
