Nora was one of the loveliest people I knew . My memories go back to when we were in our twenties and spent many happy nights dancing at the ' Ags ' , Vets and Engineers dances in the Olympic ballroom. Nora was never short of admirers. Everyone loved loved her.

To Nora's brother Frank and the extended McQuaid family may I extend my deepest sorrow to you all on the death of a dear friend, Nora. We had great times together teaching Infants in Presentation Primary School Terenure. Her interests were so varied and her ability to impart all she knew from all her travels was a marvel. I will miss our chats but she will always remain near and dear. May she rest in peace.

Dear Frank, I'm so sorry to hear that Nora has died. Nora was a long-standing and much-valued friend and neighbour. We had many, many chats down through the years in Dodder Park and I shall miss her. My deepest sympathy to you and all the family. It is very sad that we can't join you for her funeral Mass in our local church but we will be with you on the live stream. May Nora now rest contentedly in the happiness of God's home.

I have so many fond memories of teaching next door to Nora in infants in my early teaching career in Presentation, Terenure. She was always such a kind and gentle mentor who I learned so much from. She had such interesting stories to tell and was a great listener in equal measure. May she rest in peace.
