Dear Nora(Nev) RIP a I knew her as ,was just a super person and certainly a most sincere friend of mine for 53 years, !
Perhaps we were not alway close in distance ,but we were certainly close at heart and in spirit. I termed this lady as one, if not my best friend. Our working years together were such a joy from day one .

The superb and so well organised siminars both David and myself were honoured to be invited to ,are ones we will always cherish

Today, of all days, 9th Dec, I googled your mum's name and found this. I have so often wondered what has happened since my unforgettable days with Angela, and you, Kevin - back in 1978/79, not to mention the visits to Cambridge and even to California! Marian? A christening with Margaret... and of course your unforgettable Mum, whose name came into my head today.
LOVE to you all and especially to her, up in her well-deserved heaven! It seems more than a coincidence to have found this notice today; so I am really glad to be able to wish you all my warmest wishes on this sad but special day, and add my name to the list of people who remember your mum so well.
I would so love one of you to get in touch and tell me a bit of what has happened since I saw you last. I heard about Angela a few years ago from her old friend Diana, but no details. I felt such a huge hole in my heart; I always thought I'd see her again one day. I'd love to hear from you Kevin; tell me what happened next! In the meantime, I offer again such a big tribute to your warm welcoming mum - it seems like yesterday. The family filled the house in Cambridge then but I see it has grown just a wee bit since those days! What a lovely life.

Nora was a lovely lady always very pleasant and friendly lady.

We had such happy memories of Nora. She was a wonderful and interesting person, from the first time of meeting her years ago in Dysert up to her final home in Fatima. We had great laughs with Nora. She was such fun, a flamboyant, vibrant and uplifting person and a great story teller. She was so proud of her family. We will always remember her. She was my Nabor for many yrs.
a pleasure to meet on her walks into town. We had some lovely chats.
She was a warrior and I used still see her walking to town from Fatima Home Residents Area. I will always remember her style of dress and a very engaging lady. She always spoke so proudly of her children and grandchildren.
