Sincere condolences to you Ann, Mary and Martina. I was upset to hear of the passing of your lovely mum. Aunty Noreen was always so welcoming and generous with both her time and whatever was in the press at the time. The kettle was always on, and I remember her lovely bread when we would visit in Spiddal on a Sunday. Uncle Padraig and dad would go straight out to do whatever needed to be done, and your mom would boil the eggs, butter the bread and make the tea.
I'm sure one of my family explained why I wasn't able to attend, but I did watch the beautiful mass on-line this afternoon. The singing was beautiful, and I shed a tear at the last one - May the wind be always at your back.
The last few weeks must have been so difficult for you all. I'll light a candle and keep you all in my prayers.
May her lovely soul rest in peace.

We will miss the phone chats, as we hadn't been able to meet for a while. Sadly we are unable to attend the funeral but Noreen will be remembered at Mass in Ballyconneely.

Having lived as her next door neighbour for 15 years the news of Noras passing is heartbraking. Such a friendly caring soul who was so good to us and our kids. She will be dearly missed.

I have lovely memories of visiting Nonie on the farm and always enjoyed her company when she came to Newbridge to see Mam. Nonie and mam had the longest and best chats over the phone in recent years.
