It was with great sadness to hear of the passing of Nonie. There was always such a great and warm welcome in Ivy House from such a great lady. Childhood memories of the summer Sunday seaside trips ( by bus) with the first stop and last at Ivy House will always be cherished and never forgotten.
She knew everyone, where they were , who they were connected to and it all rolled off without effort, a truly great conversationalist in every respect. A lady who was an expert on social history.
I am sure it will have given her great comfort, joy and pride when all the Gill Cousins of many years ago came from all over to her home on Saturday September 29th 2018 for a very special reunion.
And at this time her great work here is now done, may she rest in peace.
My Deepest sympathy to all her sons and daughters, her brothers and her extended family.
