Sincere condolences to all of Noan’s family on her passing.
When I moved to Lislevane, I first met Noan at Paddy & Maura Holland’s station. She was so welcoming and kind, and we hit it off instantly. I always loved meeting Noan, as she was great fun to be around. She was a very non-judgemental lady, with a warmth that immediately put people at ease.
In many ways, Noan was ahead of her time. It was she who introduced me to WhatsApp, telling me about the group chat she had with her family. Her generous spirit and lived faith shone through in all she did. When it was difficult to find someone to “take” the station, Noan stepped in so that it would continue in our area.
It feels especially fitting that Noan passed away at home, surrounded by her family, the two things that meant most to her. Rest in peace, dear Noan. I hope you realised what a truly lovely person you were.
