I was so sorry to learn of the death of your lovely Granny Nora. She was just fab xx. The fondest memories of staying over, while we did the course in U.C.C...

The warmest of welcomes extended to me. Treat the kitchen as our own, with endless cups of tea. I had the coziest bed, and most importantly, the knock on the door to break study, and come up the hall for Fair City! ( I continue to have a fond association, when i hear that music)!

She was a beautiful lady. Extended sympathy to your Mum at this really sad time, and to all of the immediate and extended family.

It was my privilidge to have met her, and enjoyed her hospitality.

Dear Cathy, Marian, Danny, Dennis, and all family members,
I'm thinking of you and praying for the repose of the soul of your dear mother Nora, and for your consolation at this difficult time.
I have lovely memories of visiting aunt Nora when we were children. It was a big adventure to go from Glounthaune to Vicarstown in one day, especially when the Blarney bus stopped shy of our destination at the bottom of the hill! Aunt Nora took on a more special role for me for the last five years when my mother was in Bridhaven. I kept her posted on her sister's condition and she kept me close to my mother. I always made sure I had a funny story for her about bear, moose or tick bites. Her laugh did me a lot of good. As a poet, she felt deeply but bore life's pains patiently and quietly. When her spirit seemed like it was nearly quenched, she showed strength and courage and put everything in the hands of God.
Nora was a great example of loveliness for me.
May she rest in peace.
