I was very saddened to hear of Nora’s passing. She took me under her wing as a 16 year old in my first job in Beauchamps in 1989. A beautiful lady inside and out. My deepest condolences to Nora’s family.

I have been deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Nora. I have nothing but the fondest of memories of your Mum, the most kind, funny, dignified woman, who never gave me anything but the warmest welcome, even when interrupting yet another Sunday lunch.
I have so many memories of a person I considered a second Mum throughout childhood, but one in particular stands out. I could have been no older than two or three and had fallen on the pavement in Myrtle Park, scraping my knee in the process. Your Mum immediately comforted me before kneeling down and admonishing the “bad pavement” and giving it a smack for good measure. It was a moment that simultaneously displayed her wonderful way with kids, whilst also igniting in me a life-long obsession with petty vengeance!
Your folks will be reunited now and resume a relationship I remember as being characterized by laughter and mutual adoration.
I am sorry I couldn´t make it to the funeral, but I know you have given her the send-off she so richly deserves.
Adíos Nora, you will be much missed. Que sera, sera indeed.

Nora was a lovely lady & I saw her from time to time when visiting my mother in Knockrobin Hill nursing home but in particular when I was in singing for the residents she would always give us her rendition of Que Sera Sera. She sang it most beautifully. Nora had a sweet voice & was always happy to sing for us. May she rest in peace. 😔

To Dee, Medb, Ciara, Aisling, and Tom, my condolences on losing your dear mother. Auntie Nora was a lovely soul, with a great sense of humour and a great singing voice! My memory of her is in 2006 when she came with Mum to stay with us in Paris and she got up, in a piano bar, and accompanied the pianist, and sang all the songs from the 50s, she knew all the lyrics.

To Medbh, Dee, Ciara, Ashling, and Tom and your families, the passing of Auntie Nora was bittersweet. We all remember the twinkle in her eye and her humour. She was the mischievous sister. Through my whole life I have a memory of Auntie Nora from early childhood. It is of sitting under the table in Nana's house with the elder cousins. There was a table cloth on the table which created a tent like atmosphere. There was a party of some sort going on. Auntie Nora was under the table with us telling us ghost stories. I don't know if any of the rest of you remember that. It captures her playfulness.
