On behalf of Margo and myself I would like to offer our sincere sympathy to Jerry, Eileen and their families on the very sad occasion of the death of their beloved mother, Nora. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Nora helped us to settle in to Baltimore more than 40 years ago, when we came to live permanently, and she remained a friend ever since.
She and my Margo shared adjoining rooms in Skibbereen Residential Care for the past year, where she gave us a great wave every day we met. She was always in very good form and singing away to her hearts content!! We will miss her! May God give her eternal rest!

I was so sorry to hear of Nora's death. We had many lovely chats when i was working at SRCC and later when i used to visit with my Irish Therapy Dog, Milo. She had a wonderful sense of humour and the most beautiful laugh. And she always spoke highly of her children, their spouses and her Grandchildren whom she loved very much. She will be missed so much.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Nora. Nora was a beautiful lady, inside and out, whom we got the pleasure of getting to know in our time in SRCC. Nora was a true character, whose charm and whit was second to none. Her wonderful renditions of old Irish songs made hard days seem manageable and her witty words of encouragement always left us smiling! If ever there was a spare minute in our day, to Nora’s room we went, as we were always welcome and ensured a kind conversation or a sing-song!
