Today's mass, and Nora's family's memories of her were a great tribute to her generosity and friendship (we benefitted from Nora's hospitality).

Today I watched the funeral of my dear cousin Nora and felt so sad that I couldn’t be there to “see her off” and to also give you all my sincerest condolences. Nora was very dear to me. Whenever I went over to Ireland I always stayed with her on my way down to Ballylanders and on her frequent visits to London she always stayed with us. For many years she joined my mum , Maureen and myself on our annual tour to a different part of Ireland. Those tours were so much fun. She came to my daughter’s wedding in Thailand and also to Tuscany when they got engaged! We loved our travels with her. She was kind, generous and always welcoming. I know she will be sorely missed by you all as she will be by myself and my family. RIP lovely Nora! 🙏

I have known Nora since our schooldays in Presentation. She was always happy and smiling, kind and caring. It was a pleasure to have known her.

Dear Nora was the person who had lived the longest on the Terrace; she was very proud of this fact and had great stories to tell. Over the last 47 years she has been a lovely neighbour to me.
May dear Nora rest in peace now, the last few years have been very difficult for her.

Nora was a lovely lady and I had the pleasure of spending time with her when I lived in Terenure many years ago. She was a great host and wonderful company. May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to learn of Nora's passing. She was a very devoted Sister and Aunt and will be fondly remembered by all her family.

We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Nora. She was such a kind and thoughtful neighbour, and we will always remember her warmth and generosity. She always took the time to chat and ask how we were doing, and we’ll never forget the sweet treats she would bring us at Christmas and birthdays when we were younger. She never complained about the noise when we were kids, and always returned our footballs when they landed over her wall. She truly was a wonderful person and a great neighbour.
