To all the Carey Family, our deepest sympathies on Noreen’s passing. She was a vibrant smart interesting lady who always had a warm smile and a welcome.
I remember, back in the 70’s when we were all making Home Brew, and then having impromptu parties in each other’s houses. Peter and Noreen’s brew was among the best!

She was full of character and a great story teller, a wonderful host and made everyone feel welcome. As recently as this summer I really enjoyed my mother telling me stories of the old days at Grove Park and Churchtown and how Noreen was like a sister to her and the many great times they had. For my Beloved Nono cousin/sister/friend.
She was a huge part of my life growing up as a child plus i was also of when Roisin stayed with us while in UCD .great times. I would go and stay with her myself and the kid's. Arrive with one bag and leave with 3or4bags
When noreen got sick with Cancer Tracey contacted me and we started meeting once a month. Me Noreen jeanne and Catherine all cousin's (4 musketeers)we would have lunch in Malihide and spend the afternoon laughing .she really enjoyed that.The three of us will miss her so much .Pete is waiting for you Nono.

Noreen was my mother's Godchild and in the 1960's while l was at UCD l shared a bedroom with her in the Cronin family home .l had a wonderful time there as l was included in all her adventures .A brilliant woman with a lively wit and great sense of humour .Her courage in battling her illness was amazing .May she be reunited now with the love of her life Peter .

Very sorry to hear about your Mam, I remember her cooking up a storm whenever we came to visit as a child. I thought her kitchen was so cool and the food was amazing. Can hear her laughing now, a strong woman with great sense of humour.
