Nana, thank you for being the best there was. Thank you for always loving me as one of your own grandchildren. I will tell James plenty of stories of you as he is growing up about what a kind caring nana and great nana you was. I hope you know how much we loved you. I am going to miss listening to all of your funny stories, you will forever be in my heart until we meet again. Love and miss you forever and always Nana xxxx

May God ease your pain and grant your mothers gentle and kind soul a place in Paradise. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly -

O Holy St. Anthony gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request).

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms. The gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

I picture heaven having a window and that Nan would be sat by it looking through the net curtain down at us all. Watching all the comings and goings and putting the world to rights. If that’s true I can’t want to sit next to her one day to have a good gossip with a cup of tea x
