She was a gentle and warm lady and I have lovely memories of her visits to Marmulane and also her hospitality when I stayed up in Tourmakeedy with Grace. I am so sorry to hear of dear Noreen's death, and extend my deepest sympathy to all the Gavin family. She and Tom were so kind to me while in college in Túr Mhic Éadaigh, having me to dinner on Sundays with you all, which was such a joy, and meant so much to me. Sadly, I lost touch over the years. May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may the good Lord comfort you all in her loss.
