In the North Kerry area the Holyoake name is linked to the professional midwifery care given for many years by Noreen's aunt Nurse Holyoake. Noreen was proud of this and of her unusual surname associated with the Lartigue monorail. Listowel can be thankful. Rest Peacefully Noreen.

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Noreen a family friend for many many years. She never failed to send a Xmas Card to Mam and Therese every year. I travelled to Dublin on the June Bank Holiday Monday with Noreen and Helen for my start in the Civil Service and I stayed with Noreen for a few nights . That was back in 1976.
