Noreen was an absolute joy. I remember her so fondly for her laughter and love of life . Her family were absolutely central to her world and she knew that she was deeply loved. Whenever I see soda bread I think of her, queen of her kitchen and central to the Maye family. The world has lost an angel but her memory and influence will live long with those that knew and loved her. Sending huge love to Brendan, Catherine , Kevin, Brian, Finbarr and all the Maye family x

I’m so sorry Brendan just sorry

Aunt Noreen was simply THE BEST. Even though there was great distance between California and Cork, it never made a difference when we were on the telephone or together in the United States or Ireland. She was not only a terrific Aunt but as I got older she was also a wonderful friend.

My heart breaks for my absolute favorite Uncle Brendan, cousins Catherine, Kevin, Finbarr and Brian as well as Clair, Sinead and Alex and all of Aunt Noreen’s beautiful grandchildren.

Aunt Noreen was one in a million and I feel very, very fortunate to have had her in my life. Which only makes it harder to say goodbye.
