Oh Noreen!

This is probably not as strange for you as it is for me. I only say that because I've no doubt that you are in a place now of unimaginable beauty, enlightenment & understanding.

I would never, in my wildest dreams, have guessed that the last time we chatted would be the last time we chatted or that I'd be wishing you a merry Christmas in Heaven. And I'm quite sure that Christmas in Heaven is very merry indeed and I do hope you're enjoying it up there.

Unfortunately, here on this mortal plane we will do our best to be merry but our hearts are heavy because we do miss you.

Michael & I have known Ellis & yourself for close on sixty years and even though we left Ballincollig over forty years ago our friendship never waned. If anything, it grew even stronger. We've been in touch with Ellis every day since we saw you off and will continue to do so.

So Noreen, I don't suppose that there's much more to say now except to, once again, offer our deepest sympathies to Ellis & all your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & all who miss you and to wish you a restful & peaceful repose.

So bye for now Noreen, but only for now, because I know we will all be together again.

There are no words to describe how sad we all feel today after watching Noreen's funeral on screen made even more poignant by the fact that we were not able to be there.
All I can say is we have wonderful memories of the good times in Polrevagh and Dunloughan. Our thoughts are with you all today and wish we could be there.
