So sorry to hear of Nora’s death. My sincere condolences to her family at this very sad time.
She was the most sincere, devout, caring and generous person. Always loved by her dear friends. We spent many happy memorable times in Burton on Trent at the beginning of our nursing careers and reminisced many times of those days over the years, never to be forgotten. Prayers for the repose of the soul of Nora and May Rest In Peace united with her dear husband Joe. Amen

We were saddened to learn on Tuesday that our dear friend Noreen O Riordan had passed away and we extend our sincere sympathy to Marian Patrick and Anthony and her son in law Vincent daughter in law Belinda and grand children and to the extended Heffernan and O Riordan families On our many visits to Rathmale we were always welcomed with open arms by Noreen and Joe ,Noreen always had nice and tasty food for us Noreen was deeply religiones as evidence by her many pilgrimages to Lourde and other holy shrines Noreen and Joe worked hard to raise and educate their children We regret we were unable to attend the funeral Mass but we watched it on Television Both homily and eulogy were well thought out and delivered It was n ice thew Scouts and her best friends shouldering her coffin to her final resting place She is at home now with her beloved Joe for ever May the sod of Kilkeedy rest lightly on Noreen and may her gentle soul rest in the peace of Christ

In 1985 I first met Noreen when she nursed our mother in her final months.
She was so kind and gentle and brought all the sensitivities of palliative care to her nursing.
We have and continue to appreciate her care in those days.

Noreen was an integral part in our growing up and will be forever remembered as a lady of drive and energy. I still remember advance preparations for Lourdres and indeed the “Bounty Boxes” - her heart was amazing and only ever touched many others for the better.

Limerick is today short a true champion and a very special lady.

Sadly I cannot attend the funeral in person but please accept my condolences and regrets at this sad news
