Heartfelt condolences on the passing of Noreen - so sorry to hear the sad news. I had the pleasure of working with Noreen in Malahide Library (Fingal Libraries). Noreen will always be remembered for her warm smile, her great sense of style and unwavering professionalism. Mind yourselves during this very difficult time.

I was very saddened to hear of the death of Noreen and so soon after the passing of her husband Tony. My deepest sympathies to her family,,, Gareth, Susan and Sinead also her brother Tommy.
Noreen was like a big sister to me and I can remember well the summer of 1953, in the front garden of Garden Terrace, splashing in the tin bath with Noreen to keep cool. The walks along the canal banks and all the fun.
Sorry my health didn’t permit my attendance.

I am so sorry to hear of Noreen’s and Tony’s passing. It was just last year that we connected~cousins through Noreen’s mother, Nora Dempsey (my daughter’s namesake), and my grandmother, Mabel Mahon. They were sisters (née Cronin).

I was welcomed with open arms and for that, I shall always be grateful. We were able to laugh, reminisce over photos, and talk about our families. There was so much love in the Dempsey-Walley home. What a beautiful testament to two people, Noreen and Tony, and the legacy they left behind for us all!

I would say, RIP, however, knowing the Cronin-Dempsey-Walley families, it’s more like, celebrate at your reunion in heaven and keep dancing with the angels.
