I knew Norma when we both worked in UCC, having begun our training in the secretarial centre at the same time, along with a number of others. For many of us it was our first full-time job, and our tightly-knit group formed a lovely camaraderie, before being sent to different departments within the university. I particularly remember with great fondness the fun we had as a group of nineteen and twenty year olds, and I can still hear Norma's wonderful laugh. Thinking of Norma's family and friends at this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
