My deepest sympathy to Gerard, Tom, Eily, Mary, Sean, Tom and extended Thompson and O'Connor families. I first got to know Norma when she joined Kerry VEC almost 27 years ago. We worked together in the same office in Moyderwell, along with Jim and John. What great times we had in the Adult Education section. I distinctly remember a trip we shared to Aras an Uachtaran and the fun we had going up on the train. Both involved in Community Education, we would head off to some parish hall, setting up computers or sometimes even teaching computer classes for Jim! They were really, really lovely times. I will miss Norma, she was a great friend, a loyal friend, a lady of the highest integrity and it was a privilege to know her. Rest easy Norma, you're at peace now. You will never be forgotten, your colleague and friend, Eleanor.
