Norma Walsh
(née Foley)

My sympathies and prayers are with Donie, Margie, Therese, Richard, Anne Marie, Maura, Tim, Ann, grandchildren Jack, Kate, Billy, Mary Rose and Sonny and the extended Walsh and Foley families as they navigate their ongoing loss of their beloved Norma. She and I were best of friends since our early childhood in Castletown NS. She was everything that has been said about her in all of these pages of messages and so much more. Norma was a wonderfully loving, kind, caring and generous person. We mourn her loss and miss her wonderful presence. May she rest in peace.

We spent a wonderful few days at Ard na Greine many years ago and i still remember Norma's gorgeous brown bread. Thank you Norma and Donie.
Our paths crossed many times over the years when we used to meet at Irish Farmhouse Holidays annual conferences.. Great memories..

Norma was always so welcoming when I visited Ard na Greine, and I never left hungry or empty handed. Her hospitality and her kindness were legendary, as was her ability to get a job out of you, while you were there (in my case, I can still picture the generous servings of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as I served them to guests). Her funeral was a beautiful tribute to her life; and so special to hear Norma's own words. May she rest in peace.
