My deepest condolences to Ben, Sarah, BJ, Paul, and all of Nuala’s grandchildren and in-laws, as well as her extended family on your loss. The last number of months must have been very difficult for you all. I am sorry that I could not be there to convey my sympathies in person. Even though I had not seen Nuala in many years, I have many warm and fond memories of her when we were all children visiting Granny and Grandad Foxes’ house in Newmarket-on-Fergus, drinking tea together and having the craic. Nuala was also a lynchpin of her own family as well as to her own brothers and sisters. She was also a wonderful and supportive daughter to Granny Fox in her old age. The world is a lesser place without her. I hope that you will all find some comfort in the no doubt countless happy memories you have of Nuala. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Nuala was the kindest soul and my brothers and I all have very fond memories of our visits to Shannon as children where we were always made feel so welcome and loved in their home. Nuala was so kind to our Granny Fox and was incredibly thoughtful, remembering every birthday and milestone of her nieces nephews and siblings. My deepest condolences to the Fox and Cantillion families on the passing of our beautiful Auntie Nuala. We will always remember Nuala as a person with the biggest heart and kindest soul. Nuala loved her family and would do anything to help her children and Ben. Ye were her greatest pride and joy. She was an amazing mother, she was also a fantastic daughter she was there for our beautiful Granny Fox ensuring Granny was looked after and safe. We were always thankful to Nuala for her kindness to Granny. My lovely Auntie Breeda talks about her baby sister Nuala with so much love and remembers her as an easy kind quiet child who was always grateful for even the smallest gestures.Those traits stayed with her through her adult years, always grateful to everyone and always willing to give to other's. To know Nuala was to love her and we were all blessed to have Nuala in our lives. The last few months have been very hard on the whole family but the love, compassion and care that surrounded Nuala is a testament to the amazing person Nuala was and how deeply she was loved. May Nualas gentle soul rest in peace.

Nuala,Ben & family were so kind to Nora and me when we moved in next door in 1981.
Nuala was incredibly caring and warm hearted and loved by all her neighbours- a unique lady who always thought of others.
