Nuala Feric
(née Perry)

Nuala was an inspiration, her love of life, her curiosity, her warmth, her love of music and the arts, the important work she did with Cherish to challenge institutions and advocate for women. I will forever treasure our conversations, the fun and adventures we had in Australia, Dublin, Kerry. I'm so sad to hear of her passing and condolences to all her family & friends, particularly her beloved sisters whom she loved so dearly, sending my love to you all.

My condolences to those family and friends who loved Nuala. In the 1980s I first met Nuala in Cherish in Pembroke Street where her friendship, wisdom and welcoming sparkling smile would brighten the gloomiest day. Cherish was an important part of my newly single parent life as we battled and bettered society's attitudes. She was a special person, rest easy dear Nuala.

Sincere sympathy to Mary who's friend Nuala has as another friend said 'gone into another room'. Nuala was a person in Cherish who seemed always to know the answer to problems posed from clients.

I am so sorry to hear that Nuala has passed away. She was such a wonderful character. I have very fond memories of working with her in Cherish many years ago, and meeting her at concerts down through the years.

So very sad to hear that this wonderful lady has passed away. She was full of life and positivity, never fearful of anything, and my conversations with her were always about big issues, never small talk even in recent times. She was a lifelong and dear friend of my mam, Kitty Devenney. I hope she is having a great reunion with the rest of that super gang of women from Iona/St. Mary’s. Will miss you Nuala. X

Dear Grace and Maura - your wonderful Nu has gone to that other room to be with her beloved Stefan, Charlotte and your parents and brother. I will always remember her warmth, kindness, strength, humour, vivacity and intelligence. As my brother Mark said in his tribute, our family had a deep friendship with roots going back a very long time. Heaven's light to you dear Nuala and thank you for all your goodness down the years. You will be so missed.

So sorry to learn that our very dear and cherished friend Nuala has slipped away from this life .What a wonderful Lady , always so full of life and love .
Through her late husband Stefan there was a very deep and significant connection and friendship with our family . Nuala's passing marks the end of an era for our family which goes back to the early 1940's if not before then .
