I was so sad to hear of Nuala’s passing. She was a beautiful human and I have many lovely memories of her from my childhood. Above being a very talented baker, she engaged with me and my sisters so intently. She was fun, creative, a great listener and had the best hugs! I loved having sleepovers and going for walks with her, I remember she always kept a firm grip on my hand and made me feel so safe 💜 may she rest in eternal peace

It is with great shock and sadness that I have heard of the death of Nuala, particularly so soon after Pearl's death. Nuala and I were classmates in Mean Scoil Mhuire, Convent of Mercy Galway. Nuala was a kind caring and gentle lady. I send my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Mary, Majella, Angela, Regina and Nuala's family.

I was so sorry to hear about your mom's passing, David and the extended Hughes family.We worked together in St Joseph's, Ballymun in the 80's and met again in recent years. Nuala was a wonderful person and a real lady.
