As two of Mrs Moran’s many piano pupils, we were deeply saddened to hear the news of her passing. We spent our whole childhood up and down in the car to her house and we have nothing but fond memories of these times. She was an amazing woman, so full of life and energy and her house was always bustling and alive with people and music. We will never forget the many pencil markings on our piano books that had to be vigorously rubbed out before exams, and ‘Goat Almighty’ has become a catchphrase in our home.
She taught us so much about music and theory, but also many life lessons through her stories that she loved to share each week. Sending lots of love to all her family. We will forever carry a little piece of her throughout our lives. 🎵 🕊️ Love Megan and Amy O’Reilly.

I remember countless days sitting in my car outside Ms Moran’s house waiting on Megan….if she didn’t call you in to the house it was a good day but if she did, well let’s say practice was increased for the next lesson. A beautiful lady who showed such kindness to us and I will be eternally grateful for have the privilege of knowing her. Shine bright Mr Moran 💔

She had the patience of a saint, and she could see right through any little white lies about how much you practiced! I'll fondly remember all of her G.A.s (Goat Almighty) written on the tops of my piano pieces until they had to be rubbed out for exams. Mrs Moran's house was always warm and welcoming, filled with music, and with so many people coming and going. She was some woman for one woman, and will be dearly missed ✨

Comhbhrón ó chroí to Vivienne, Marie and Andrea on the passing of your Mam Nuala. A very talented, witty lady. As coordinator of the Ministers of the Word in St. Canice’s Church I had interactions with Mrs Moran (please call me Nuala) which I never could, particularly for the Holy Week and Easter ceremonies and Christmas, coordinating the Readings with the Music. She always came down to Adoration to play the organ for Benediction. She will be sorely missed by all her friends in the church. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

Sending our deepest condolences to Mrs Morans family from the committee., present and past band members and teachers. Mrs Moran was with the band for many years and was a well respected teacher and the students loved her. She put hundreds of children from Finglas through her theory classes and all went on to be accomplished musicians because of her. She worked the children hard but the reward was worth it. .
