Máire, Micheál, and Michael - I was so sorry to hear about Nuala’s passing. She was such a loving and nurturing part of Springfield Road during our childhoods - always keeping an eye out and making sure we didn’t get into too much trouble! I’ll never forget her correcting my pronunciation or trying to teach me to sing Oh Danny Boy to sing at Myles’ wedding. She will be sorely missed. I’m so sorry I can’t get over for the funeral but I will be joining online. I’ll see you soon. With lots of love, Peter

Sincere condolences to Michael, Maire, Micheal and all the family. Nuala was my first cousin. She was an amazing person and kind to everyone one. She loved education and music and was always encouraging and generous with her time. She loved her family deeply. She was a fantastic teacher. I remember going to see her a few times when she was teaching in Georges Hill. She gave me maths grinds and encouraged me to go on to further education. She always had a smile, a kind word and a genuine interest in you. She loved my Mam (Aunty Annie) and kept in touch with her. A truly wonderful, kind, honest, loving and unique human. Rip Nuala.

Nuala loved laughter, she loved the gossip, she always wanted to know how your kids were doing, how were their studies going. She was a great teacher, all my siblings including me had maths tutoring by Nuala or by her lovely husband Michael. She always bought us fab books for our birthday’or Christmas gifts, she was an educationist. She was so loved by my darling mother Marie (her sister) who after our father died would either walk to see Nuala, be picked up by our other darling Auntie Ena, or take 2 buses to see Nuala. We had great parties in our house, back in the day, where Nuala’s favourite drink was a Vodka & Coke, but just the one ! She was a friend to so many, her fabulous brothers Danny & John their families always in touch. Sincere condolences to Michael, Maire, Micheal & the wider family RIP Auntie N x
