Dear Denise, Cormac, Lorcan and family,
I will always have fond memories of Nuala. A wonderful lady, strong-willed and determined. I can remember how she used to come into the shop to demonstrate where I was going wrong with my swing on the golf course. She'll be sadly missed. Rest in Peace, Nuala.

So sorry I missed Nuala’s funeral- what a character she was. Always full of beans, golfing early morning, back to do her gardening, up and down the town several times a day and perhaps another 9 holes before the day was done. She was the life and soul of the social evenings and loved a bop. She is missed- may she Rest in Peace with her beloved husband Lorcan and her daughter Helen ☺️

Dear Denise, Cormac and family, I am sorry I did not get to Nuala's funeral. I was so sad to hear Naula passed away. She was a lovely lady, always making you feel she was glad to meet you and have a chat. She made everyone feel they were being listened to and that she was truly interested in what they were saying. She was an iconic fixture in the town, and I'm glad of my memories of her. My deepest sympathies to you all. Katie Magee

My Mam and Nuala's Mam Sadie and Kitty were sisters from Fortal, Birr, Co Offaly.
Nuala holidayed in Birr in our company many times. I remember her having a disasterous hair cut here, when she thought her world would fall apart. We couldn't convince her it would only be short term.
I remember her also for her deep joyous laugh

I met Nuala one day at Greystones and played a few holes with her. We got on well and we sometimes played together when we met later on the course.

Nuala was full of life. She had huge energy and was the fastest player I ever met. I often remember seeing her in the distance approaching like a train.

Nuala was a great character and I’m sure she left an indelible memory on her friends and family. May she rest in peace.
