Deepest sympathy to Deirdre Alan Sarah Rachel Tommy and extended Walshe Family on the death of Nuala RIP
Our sincere sympathy to Aideen, Deirdre, Cormac and their families, and to the extended Walshe and Delaney families. We are thinking of you all at this sad time and may your cherished memories of Nuala be a source of comfort at this time.
Nuala was a truly remarkable lady—a wonderful neighbour and a lifelong friend to our parents. The home she and Denis built together was the heart of Walshe family life, filled with warmth, generosity, and welcome. Nuala was an exceptional homemaker, ahead of her time in so many ways.
She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure and was immensely proud of you. Her kindness, care, and hospitality were felt by all. Her baking was legendary in our house, and she was always a favourite visitor.
Together with her beloved Denis, Nuala shared a deep love of culture and the arts. They travelled widely, always returning with stories and thoughtful gifts for family and close friends. An avid reader, there was hardly a literary genre Nuala had not explored.
She was a dear friend to my Mum, and we will forever remember the kindness she showed to Mum and to us during Mum’s illness. That generosity of spirit and kindness is Nuala’s lasting legacy.
May Nuala rest in gentle peace, reunited with her beloved Denis.
