I only heard yesterday of Oisín's passing. I met him several times and he was always friendly and charming to me. He was a real gentleman.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to Dorren, Mairead, Micháel, Siobhán and Cathal and to the wider extended family.

I’m sending u all my love in this time of grief and loss. Daideo was such a wonderful beautiful soul and will be greatly missed. He never failed to make me feel special showing such genuine interest in my art and jewellery. That meant the world to me. I loved our chats that we would have about my markets and uni, he never failed to make me laugh with his wit and intelligence.

I wish I could be with you right now and give you the biggest hug. I hope that I can see you in person soon.

I am sorry to hear of the death of Oisin, sincere condolences to you and the O'Siochru family. I will always remember how much of a great man he was and how much fun it was spending time with him playing card games in Talbot Lodge and watching the football. Thinking of you lots.

Dorren my deepest sympathy goes to you, the O'Siochru family and the extended O'Siochru family. Oisin was a truly incredible man with endless energy, knowledge, joy and love. I will always remember him for his cheeky sense of humour and a genuine interest in life-long learning. I have so many fond memories, but one that stands out was the time spent trolling for summer mackerel out of the little boat in Kerry. As I reflect, this seemed like one of the moments where he found peace and happiness, bathing in the glorious Irish summer sun, feeling the cool breeze on our faces and hauling in a triple hook-up of mackerel ready for the dinner plate. My heart is heavy and full of sadness. Oisin was a great man and will be deeply missed by us all and live on in our memories and our hearts.
