Aunt Olive was our favourite to visit. As kids it seemed we spent our weekends there. The house was always busy with people coming and going, dogs running around.

Olive took the busyness in her stride, nothing was a bother.

Please accept my condolences on your Mam's passing. I remember Olive, or Mrs Christie as I called her when I was a child, with great fondness as she was always very kind, warm and chatty to me. From Geraldine and Leo Bonny.

Olive was an inspirational lady. My lovely aunt, the elder sister of my dad. We lived overseas for my entire life and would return to Dublin each year so I didn’t get to spend the time I wished we had, together.
I always remember, from the age of 5 or 6, walking into open arms at Olives house. Always a smile, always positive and always with kindness and love. Nothing could phase olive. No problem was too big. Her heart was big enough to comfort everyone without judgment and would find the positive with every moment of her life.
Rest in peace Olive. I will always remember you and know that you’re with my Dad and Ethna now.
