Olive was such a lady and had such a lovely warm and welcoming presence about her and always had a big smile on her face. It was a pleasure and a privilege to spend time with Olive. She spoke so highly about her family and her ‘girls’ and beamed with pride when doing so. Sandra and Deirdre, you are a credit to your Mam and she was so lucky to have such wonderful and caring daughters. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree….

We’ll miss you Ollie and the chip sambos, copious amounts of tea and wonderful chats while watching the quiz shows on telly!

Sincere condolences to Olive’s family on her passing. We have fond memories of Olive from Balbriggan Golf Club. She was a formidable competitor but also a warm, understanding and talented player. Anne had the pleasure of being on the team with Olive that won the First Ladies Club pennant. She was always so welcoming to new members and represented Balbriggan with graciousness as Lady Captain. May she rest in peace.
