So sorry to hear of Oliver's passing. My condolences to Martin, Ollie, Dolores and Ray. Oliver was such a clever, witty and intelligent gentleman. who bore his illness with tenacity and a smile.

Sincerest Sympathy to the children and extended family on the passing of Oliver a man to be very proud of. We were privilaged to befrend both Oliver and his late beloved wife Kay when living at Melbourn. Oliver was a very strong man whose life challenges of firstly loosing Kay and then encounter speach disablment he bore with great fortitude. May Olivers gentle sole rest with his beloved Kay in the arms of our blessed mother Mary with the Good Lord Amen.

Great memories of early Saturday mornings in Fermoy Golf Club where Oliver entertained us with excellent wit and a sharp mind along with some fine golf.

To my dear cousins Martin, Oliver, Dolores and Ray I’m very sad to hear that your dear Dad is no longer with us. I’ve such happy memories of the laughs we shared with Uncle Ollie over many years. I especially recall those hilarious, carefree Easters and summers in the mid-1980s – playing snooker or pitch & putt with Ray and all slagging each other off. It was, in Ollie’s own words, “a laugh a minute”.

Although living in Cork for decades, Ollie was an avid fan of the Wexford Hurlers to the last. You can take the Yellow-Belly out of the Model County, but you can never quite take the Model County out of the Yellow-Belly!

Ollie and his sister (my late mother Maire) loved each other dearly. His friendliness, joviality and generosity of spirit will be sorely missed by all.
