I was so saddened to hear just today of Oliver’s illness and passing. My condolences, prayers and peace be with the entire Duggan Family. Oliver was my first cousin and always a fine gentleman to all. We met in 1961 on my first visit to Ireland and my connection with the Duggan Family began. I join you all in adjusting to your loss, but I know all of our loved ones are with us always, knowing this helps me each day. I had the pleasure of working with Ollie in Templemore and carpooling from Birr to work….he always arrived with a smile and eager chat in the mornings even when the rest of us were a little less enthusiastic about starting our day. A man who was truly kind and generous of spirit…someone you would never forget meeting. My sympathies to you all on his loss.

Growing up in Portland in the sixties and seventies, we had many great neighbours and the Duggan family were an integral part of that environment. It's hard to believe that Oliver has passed on.
