So very sad to hear of the passing of my old friend Oliver we lost contact when I moved to Wexford but have never forgotten the Many years we worked in Anvils together the great laughs Oliver’s kindness caring and generous ways .The wonderful nights in Oliver’s home with his beloved Barbara with Kevin and the nights when I’d visit with AnneWalsh .
Oliver and Barbara showed me by example how to welcome entertain and show great kindness and caring to a guest to your home because that’s how you made people feel .
I know having his beloved Barbara and Kathleen beside him when he left this world would have been his last wish .

Very sad news to hear of the death of Oliver + thinking of his dear wife Barbara & my Godmother Kathleen at this sad time. Oliver was a very caring, creative and friendly human being showing wonderful care to my dear late Grandma Byrne + when neighbours in Wolfe Tone Square North. Such neighbourliness impressed us greatly as a family. Also fond memories of Oliver when he worked at the now closed iconic store, Anvils, Bray Town. Another memory was Oliver's orange car back in the day! Immaculately kept.
