I would like to offer my deepest condolences To Audrey, Gail, Emma , Michael and extended family at this very sad time on the death. I had the pleasure of working with Oliver for many years. A True Gentleman. Will be sadly missed for his humour and storey telling.

Oliver took me in as a wet behind the ears apprentice solr in the early 1970s.His sometimes gruff exterior couldn`t hide his inate kindness.At a time when apprentices usually paid for the privilege of joining the legal profession Oliver didn`t do so and he paid me a few bob as well!
I will always remember him with fondness.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Oliver. For the best part of 25 years I had the privilege of knowing and working with him in a professional capacity, and I will always be grateful for the support and guidance he also offered me personally. His integrity, kindness, and dedication to his work touched many lives. His remarkable recall and legendary stories of years gone by will be fondly remembered. My heartfelt condolences to Audrey and all his family and those who knew him. May he rest in peace.

He was such a lovely man, a true gentleman, kind to everyone, a great raconteur and a heart of gold overflowing with love for his family. He will be missed by so many. Oliver did a huge amount privately for the Tormey family. He was a massive character from his base in D4. My condolences to Audrey and all of Oliver's family and friends. My he rest in peace.

We had great times working in John B O’Connor & Co together and he was a pleasure to be around. An absolute gent of a man. I miss the pocket dials I used to regularly get from him as I was honoured to be at the top of his contact list but it was always a great excuse for a chat and a catch up. RIP Dear Oliver the world is a dimmer place without your light and laughter in it.
